I have started messing about with my camera again, I have such an adorable subject.  Hopefully we will get out some soon and I can take some good photos.

Brief moment where I take a different path with my photo blog to talk...  This is Lizzie, my other baby.  While Adam and I are blessed to have our son Aiden, I know a lot of people diminish the importance of pets once they have children and sort of "move on."  That hurts my heart to think of a pet being cast aside.

SO many dogs just pour out everything they have with love for their owners and to be cast aside has to be painful and so we have not done that, we have worked hard to incorporate our pups into the new situation and we love them just as much as we did.

Lizzie is too sweet and too awesome to lose any affection and she sits dutifully at my side while I work, while I take care of Aiden, while I study... she is wonderful so I work really hard to show her how much I love her.

This was the day after he was born  12/21/2012

He and his dad are a perfect match... they look so much alike and his daddy is smitten.  This child will be so spoiled.

Big Baby

There are days when the rest of the world can let you down... when friends prove to not be friends, when work seems too overwhelming... when everything seems to be on the opposite side of what needs to be done to get things right...

and then there is the eternal and unconditional love of a pet.

This is my Lizzie.  She is big, she is playful, and sometimes she is downright annoying, but she is always there... no matter what, loving me.

When I don't feel good and I am in the bed, she lays there loyally and sits with me, when I am doing my school work, she sits beside me (or in this case UNDER ME) while I work away.  

Dogs are pretty special creatures, and this one is one of the best.
